Oneisall RFC-676 vs X2 — Which Dog Clipper Should You Buy?
Share
Oneisall makes two popular cordless dog clippers in India — the RFC-676 for thick coats and the X2+N5 combo for general grooming. Many buyers end up choosing the wrong one for their dog. This guide will make the decision straightforward.
The One-Line Answer
- RFC-676 — for thick, dense, double-coated breeds (Golden Retriever, Husky, German Shepherd, Samoyed)
- X2+N5 — for short, medium, and single-coated breeds (Labrador, Shih Tzu, Pomeranian, Beagle, cats)
Motor Power — The Critical Difference
The RFC-676 runs at 6800 RPM. The X2 runs at approximately 4500 RPM. For thin or single-layer coats, both work fine. But for a Golden Retriever's dense undercoat or a Husky in shedding season, the X2 will slow down and pull — which is uncomfortable for the dog and frustrating for you. The RFC-676's higher torque keeps blades moving consistently through the thickest fur without stalling.
Waterproofing
The RFC-676 is IPX6 waterproof — you can rinse it under the tap completely. The X2 is splash-resistant but not fully waterproof. If you frequently groom after bathing or want easy post-groom cleanup, the RFC-676 wins here.
Paw and Face Detail Work
The RFC-676 is a body clipper only — no attachment for paw pads or facial detail work. The X2+N5 Combo includes the N5 mini paw trimmer, which handles between-toe trimming, face, ears, and other sensitive areas.
If you buy the RFC-676 and also need paw trimming, you'll want to add the N5 separately. Many RFC-676 owners in India use both — RFC-676 for the body coat, N5 for detail work.
Battery Life
RFC-676: 240 minutes per charge. X2: approximately 180 minutes. Both are more than enough for a single grooming session, but the RFC-676's extra runtime is useful for particularly dense coats that take longer to work through.
Noise Level
RFC-676: under 55 dB. X2: approximately 50 dB. Both are significantly quieter than standard pet clippers. The X2 is marginally quieter, which can make a difference for extremely anxious small dogs or cats — but for most breeds the RFC-676's noise level is completely acceptable.
