Kingsdun 62-in-1 electric screwdriver review India

Kingsdun 62-in-1 Electric Screwdriver Review — Best for Home Repairs in India?

The Kingsdun 62-in-1 is one of our most popular products at Agromato, and for good reason. But it's not for everyone. Here's an honest breakdown of who should buy it and what to expect.

What's in the Box

The kit includes the electric screwdriver body, 60 precision bits covering Phillips, flathead, Torx, Pentalobe, Tri-point, Hex, and more, a USB-C charging cable, a magnetic bit holder extension, and a flexible shaft. The bit set covers virtually every screw you'll encounter in smartphones, laptops, tablets, smart watches, and home electronics.

Build Quality

The body is aluminium alloy — noticeably heavier and more premium than the plastic screwdrivers you get in most Indian tool kits. The bit holder is magnetic and strong enough that bits don't fall out when you're working upside-down. The LED work light at the front is genuinely useful for tight spaces.

Electric Mode — How Well Does It Work?

The electric mode runs at a fixed speed and delivers 3 N·cm of torque. This is enough for most electronics screws — phone back panels, laptop base screws, SSD brackets. It won't strip screws if you keep the bit properly seated. For stubborn or overtightened screws, you switch to manual mode and apply more torque by hand.

Battery life is rated for about 200–300 screws per charge. We found that to be roughly accurate — a full phone teardown and reassembly (about 30–40 screws) barely moved the battery indicator.

Who Is It For?

  • Phone/laptop repair enthusiasts — ideal, covers every bit you'll need
  • People who do occasional home repairs — the electric mode saves time on repetitive screws
  • Watch hobbyists — the precision bits work well, though for watch work the watch repair kit has more specialised tools

Who Should Look Elsewhere

If you only need to tighten a few screws around the house occasionally, the electric feature is overkill — a simple 46-in-1 manual set is more practical and cheaper. The electric screwdriver shines when you're dealing with many screws repeatedly.

Verdict

For anyone doing regular electronics repair or teardowns, the Kingsdun 62-in-1 is excellent value at its price point. The build quality is far above what you get from generic tool kits, and the bit selection means you're never missing the right head.
